PS Plus November 2026 Games: Dead Island 2 Leads a Five-Game Haul From November 3

The PS Plus November 2026 games are set, and the headline is hard to argue with. From Tuesday, November 3, subscribers can claim Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2, with the claim window running until Monday, November 30. Because the Tomb Raider collection holds three games, the month technically delivers five games for the price of the subscription you already pay.
Sony announced the lineup on October 28, and the details have held up across every regional report since. All three monthly games are included in every tier, from Essential up to Premium, and anything you claim stays playable for as long as your membership stays active. You only need to add the games to your library inside the window. Downloading them can wait.
The PS Plus November 2026 games lineup
Here is the month at a glance, with platforms as listed in Sony's announcement coverage:
- Dead Island 2 (PS5, PS4): first-person zombie action RPG set in a ruined Los Angeles, solo or in three-player online co-op.
- Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (PS5, PS4): the Darkness Trilogy, with The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, plus a toggle between original and remastered visuals.
- Monster Train 2 (PS5 only): a deckbuilding roguelite where allied clans of former angels and demons fight to retake Heaven.
PS4-only subscribers should note the one gap: Monster Train 2 has no PS4 version in this offer. Everyone else gets the full trio.
Dead Island 2 is the headliner for a reason
Dead Island 2 spent the better part of a decade in development hell before Dambuster Studios finally shipped it in 2023, and the surprise was that it turned out good. The setting, a quarantined Los Angeles nicknamed HELL-A, is the star: sun-bleached streets, abandoned hotels and beachfront mansions, all packed with zombies that come apart in satisfyingly specific ways thanks to the game's FLESH damage system.
You pick from six Slayers, each with their own personality and starting skill cards, then build a deck of abilities around melee weapons you craft and upgrade. It is at its best in co-op, where three players can carve through a story that never takes itself too seriously. If you skipped it at launch because of the troubled history, this is the cheapest possible way to correct that mistake.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered completes the classic set
The Tomb Raider collection is the quiet steal of the month. Aspyr's remaster bundles The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, the three games that closed out Lara Croft's original run. The remastered visuals clean things up considerably, but the option to switch back to the original polygonal graphics is there for purists and for anyone who wants to see exactly how far the series has come.
It also pairs neatly with the earlier Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, which Sony added to the service earlier in 2026. Subscribers who claimed both now hold all six original adventures in one library. Lara's future is also in the news, with the Legacy of Atlantis teaser building toward a February 2027 launch, so this is a good moment to revisit where the character came from.
Monster Train 2 is the PS5-only gem
Monster Train 2 is the kind of game that eats evenings without asking permission. You command clans aboard trains travelling through Hell, Heaven and the Abyss, defending a pyre across three vertical floors while building a deck from five new clans. Runs are short enough to fit into a lunch break and deep enough that one more run turns into five.
The first Monster Train built a loyal audience on the strength of its clan combinations, and the sequel widens that formula rather than reinventing it. For PS5 owners who have never tried a deckbuilding roguelite, this is a zero-risk entry point. For veterans, it is a new set of toys.
Claim October's games first
Before November's games arrive, there is a deadline worth respecting. October's monthly games, F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, leave the claim list after Monday, November 2. If you have not added them yet, do that before the November lineup takes over on November 3. It takes about two minutes in the PlayStation app and costs nothing extra.
One regional wrinkle: PlayStation Plus subscribers in Japan will not get Dead Island 2, which is replaced there by Secret Neighbor. That swap appears to be Japan-only, so everyone else can expect the lineup as listed.
What to play first
Start with Dead Island 2 if you want the biggest, most immediately fun game of the three. Start with Monster Train 2 if you want something you will still be thinking about at work the next day. Start with Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered if you have any affection for the original PlayStation era, because The Last Revelation in particular still holds up as a piece of adventure design.
November is shaping up to be a busy month for PlayStation owners in general, with Sony's PlayStation Pulse headset landing on November 19, the same week as a certain open-world crime game everyone is counting down to. A free trio this strong is a good way to fill the gaps. And if you missed last month's lineup, our rundown of October's PS Plus games explains what rotated out and why the November 2 deadline matters.
